    • A grant amendment form needs to be completed by PI (template can be found at https://www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca/_doc/Tri-Agency/TAFAG/Grant_Amendment_Form_e.pdf).  Sections regarding institutional information will be completed by ORS once the form is received. The ORS will then verify and submit the request to CIHR.
    • Please submit the grant amendment form to Shehnaz Motani (research awards officer with the ORS) – shehnaz.motani@ors.ubc.ca.

UBC Innovation Partnerships

• Translate research discoveries and partnerships –> new tech, service, treatment, policy

Knowledge Exchange Unit

• Helps researchers develop and share knowledge through exchange with communities, govt, not-for-profit, and public
  • Supports UBC students, researchers, and staff to develop skills, plan and implement, and have resources to support knowledge exchange across disciplines.

University Industry Liaison Office (UILO)

• Institutional approval for research contracts and agreements

• The Learning Exchange is an entry point for faculty from UBC and other universities to engage with Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
